Paul has worked on a number of projects for SDCD but particularly specializes in governance and business development.
He regularly produces club health-check reports for funders, as well as providing capacity building support to club volunteers. He is a community shares licensed practitioner.
Paul developed guidance for Club Board Directors and undertook a strategic analysis of the leadership qualities of CEOs/General Managers of successful supporter led sports clubs. He has first hand experience of running a non-league football club.
Before working for SDCD he was a senior public servant with specialist knowledge of the Health and Charity sectors. He is an experienced Board member, currently a lay trustee of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
He studied at Cass Business School, City University and has an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management. He is an ILM accredited social enterprise business advisor.
