Paul has worked with Supporters Direct developing guidance for Club Board Directors and undertaking a strategic analysis of the leadership qualities of CEOs/General Managers of successful supporter led sports clubs. He has first hand experience of running a non-league football club.
He founded Lolben Consultancy in 2010, the company provides consultancy services to not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises and regulatory bodies. He specialises in governance reviews; business development; regulatory compliance, implementation of change programmes, risk management; strategic and operational planning; financial management; internal audit and income generation.
Prior to this he was a senior public servant with specialist knowledge of the Health and Charity sectors. He is an experienced Board member, currently a lay trustee of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
He studied at Cass Business School, City University and has an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management. He is currently studying to become an ILM accredited social enterprise business advisor.
